My 3 acres in central Jersey have some pretty steep inclines, and I was always a little nervous with my old machine. Not anymore with the X584! The K72 hydro transmission and especially the differential lock give me incredible traction and control. The 54-inch deck makes quick work of the large open areas, and for the trim work, the four-wheel steering is surprisingly agile. This machine is built to last, you can feel it.

This is my first John Deere, and it's definitely a step up. The engine is super strong and the cut quality with the 54-inch deck is immaculate.
